Mrs. Julie Tran - Kindergarten (K4, K5)


Mrs. Tran has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bryan College, with endorsements in Special Education and Early Childhood. She taught for 5 years in the Rhea County School system, 1 year at Dayton City School, and 1 year with the Tennessee Early Intervention program. This is her 6th year teaching at RCA.  She and her husband, Fred, have two children.  Amanda and Kayla attend RCA.

Mrs. Tammi Freuler - 1st & 2nd Grades

Mrs. Freuler has served in a variety of roles at RCA.  This year, she rejoins our faculty as a homeroom teacher.  She is a graduate of Bryan College.  Tammi and her husband, James, have lived in such interesting places as Alaska and Maine.  They have three children.  Grace and Judah attend RCA.

Mrs. Elaine Robbins - 3rd Grade


Mrs. Robbins has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bryan College. She taught for 6 years in the Rhea County School system at Graysville Elementary before joining Rhea County Academy.  She and her husband, Steve, have three children.  David, Maria, and Paul attend RCA.

Mrs. Kelly Metts - 4th Grade

Rhea County Academy welcomes Kelly Metts!  Mrs. Metts has a Bachelor's of Psychology from Tennessee Tech. and a Bachelor's of Arts in Education from Lee University.  Prior to joining the RCA faculty, Mrs. Metts taught in both public and private schools.  She and her husband, Sonny, have four children.

 Mr. Tim Wehse - Administrator; 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th History and Language Arts; High School Elective courses

Mr. Wehse is our first full-time administrator.  After serving three years in the United States Army, Mr. Wehse graduated from Bryan College with a degree in Biblical Studies (1991).  He also has a M.A. from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Fl (1996).  Prior to joining the staff at Rhea County Academy, Mr. Wehse served as a pastor in Las Vegas, NV.  Mr. Wehse and his wife, Jodi, have four children.  Celena and TJ attend RCA.
